1965 Mustang Convertible that was built in Dearborn, Michigan, sold new in District 72 which was San Jose, California area and has spent its' entire life in the sunny and dry states of California and Arizona and it shows! Just to clarify, all early production Mustangs built from March to July 31 of 1964 are called 1964 1/2 Mustangs by hobbyists but are all titled as 1965's and are all considered 1965 Mustangs, just early production and late production. This early production Mustang was built on June 9, 1964. The body is absolutely 100% rust free and it has been in the hands of only 1 elderly owners its' entire life so it hasn't been abused or molested in any way! This is a super rare and desirable, factory Wimbledon White with Blue bucket seat interior car! The original owner sold it to me after owning it for 35 years and it only had 71,000 original miles at that point and it still had decent original paint and was essentially untouched! I owner drove it a couple years and felt that the car deserved to be perfect, so I embarked on a virtually, total restoration to make it the gorgeous Mustang you see in my photos! I then enjoyed it as a weekend fun car until recently when I decided to make room for other projects and let my pride and joy go to a new home! My loss is your gain!
