This Camaro was restored in 2001. I did not restore it myself. This is a beautiful car and a great driver. 10,000 miles since restoration. This is a NON-Matching numbers car.
Interior: new black carpet with a white headliner, new seats (covers, foam, springs), new Auto Meter Phantom gauges , new console gauges, new dash, new GT steering wheel, Alpine FM/AM CD Player with remote, Infinity speakers. The interior is in great condition and beautiful.
Exterior: Painted Fathom Green in 2002 with a black vinyl top. This was not the original color for this 68. The paint is beautiful. New taillight bezels, new front and rear bumpers, body is really straight and rust free. The car is a must see.
Engine: non-matching 454 bored .30 over with over 300 HP. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2001 by an engine service shop in Portland, Oregon and is out of a 1991 Chevy. I have the build sheet with the specs if you need them. The vehicle has lots of power and torque and sounds really good. The engine runs strong with no issues that I am aware of. The engine has some chrome and a K&N filter, Edelbrock 750 carb with Edelbrock performance intake, new Tilton 3 HP starter, MSD ignition, Detroit Steering, Holley triple chrome fuel pump, Hooker headers and dual flowmasters. The engine is feed Royal Purple synthetic oil.
Transmission/Drive Train: Muncie M20 4-speed transmission, 12 bolt Eaton Posi with 3.08 gears.
Suspension: New control arm shaft, control arm bushings, KYB gas adjust shocks. Power front disc brakes, power steering. The tires are new BF Goodrich 255 60R 15's on rear and 225 60R 15's on the front. New 15" American Racing Torque Thrust D, 15x8.5 on rear and 15x7 on the front.
